Hibiki smiles at her and shuffles his cards.

She begins setting her cards up into a square shape. She learned this from Gou. He explained the weirder the formation the harder for your opponent because they wouldn't know how to attack a square set up. Plus she had a habit of moving her cards every turn.

Hibki places his cards in a completely new and random order.

Chi studied her own cards and then Hibiki's. After 13 minutes went by she began practicing her swing. It was a bit slow but that was okay because it was accurate. She had been watching Etsuko playing and learned to pin point the best spot to make the card go flying.

Hibiki memorized the cards, but he remained unmoving. His eye twitched a bit as he stared.

Chi smiled happily and got ready for the first card, the joka, to be read. She smiled at Hibiki and gave him a thumbs up to reassure him to do good.
