Jewel of the Sea (Open)

Nami blinked and explained the weird feeling she had about him, and all that had happened in the past half hour.

She laughed and dropped the anchor. "Hurry up boy!" She stripped off the wet-suit and dived into water, accidentally flashing Karl.

"My innocent eyes!" He recoils as a joke before stripping down too, this was kind of just a thing they did at this point, though he would prefer she stay dressed. He kept modest with his hands until he hopped into the water.

She flipped him off as he jumped in. "Your innocent eyes? How about my innocent eyes!"

He laughs and splashes her "What is your obsession with us being nude? Are you trying to get me to make a move or something?" He laughed mostly to himself.

She blushed. "N-no! I just love water...I love being close to yet." She looked down and then surprised splashed him. It was her secret whirlwind attack!

"Right." He shrugged and dove under, smacking her ass and swimming away

"Wait. Your telling me that you left the CROWN PRINCESS with a WEIRDLY KNOWLEDGEABLE DUDE. You splashing left her?"
Kazu was incredulous. With a shimmer, his surf board appeared on a wave and paused ther.
"Where is she at?"
Kazu lept not the board.

"About a click and a half east. But she's on her boat, so I'm not sure how much farther than that she is." Nami shrunk a little bit at Kazu's sudden outburst. But he was right, she shouldn't have left her.

After a while she climbed back aboard and checked the time. "AGH! I gotta go soon!" She began getting dressed again and got ready to start the boat.

Karl got on and looked at his clothes "Aw I should have thought that through, my stuff is gonna get soaked" He starts toweling off so he can keep his clothing at least kinda dry.

She threw a swimsuit at him. "Sorry dude this is all I have." It was a blue bikini that had frills and little fish on it.

"..." He looks them over and thinks for a bit, then shrugs and puts it on, they hadn't worn each others clothes in a while. He does a sexy(?) pose and asks "How do I look? Man it must have been at least three years since you got me in drag."

She began laughing. "Yep! Well stay in that until you dry off." She made the boat start chugging along to the cove. She would have to find a way to ditch him once she got there.

That was an awful short swim, she is up to something. "So I guess you have some plans today. Probably with your new sister right?"

She nodded. "Yes, my sister and a friend of her's, he's supposed to be helping me with...let's say...becoming a better person at...some things..." She wasn't sure how to tell him that she was going to learn how to turn into a bipedal fish person.

"...Are you on drugs? Is this some sort of rehab thing? Why would you keep something as important as  that from me...?" He looks hurt and confused, the bikini didn't help that though.

Her eyes were wide. "Why would you think that?!?!?!" She turned and looked at him. "Are you nuts or something! I've known you since I can remember and you think I'm dumb enough to do drugs!" Now she was more than confused.

"That is the only thing I think is big enough you might not tell me." He turned his back a bit and let it smoulder.

She sighed. "I'm sorry about getting angry and frustrated...I just...You're my friend, I would tell you over an absent sister that I had never even meet until yesterday." She stopped driving the boat and stood near him. She put her hands on his shoulders. "You'll never be replaced by anyone dude."

He smiles softly and hugs her "Thank you. And, if you don't want to tell me I guess that is fine, but... When did we start keeping secrets? We tell eachother everything..."

She sighed and nuzzled her face into his neck. "I would love to tell you...It would be the best thing ever...But...I can't...I'm sorry Karl..." Her hug tightened a bit, she got like this when she was stressed, confused, scared, sad, and just frustrated. She resorted to a last ditch effort, that was usually when she relied on Karl, he always fixed her problems for her. Though she knew this was one he couldn't help with.

He looked thoughtful for a moment. "...Sorry, I feel like such a hypocrite, there is something huge I've been keeping from you too." He releases her from the hug and looks at the ocean, it was time, he was finally going to let her know how he felt.

She looked at him curiously after they were done hugging. "Go ahead. I'll listen to anything you say." She looked out at the water with him. She had to keep a close eye on what the time was.

He almost says it, but, wusses out. "I'm not human."
