"Thanks...." Were one story Japanese style houses popular in America?

Chizu put her arm on Sora's shoulder and smiled.

Sora blinks. Why did she do that?

Holly tilted her head. There was obviously something between these two, but she couldn't quite tell what. She seemed far more invested than he did.

"Back home there's nothing like this. Our structures are based off Greek architecture. You know, columns and courtyards and such." She ran her hand along the wall, getting a feel of the building.

Chizu nodded. Some places sure did have some strange styles.

Sora nods, moving Chizu's hand off of his shoulder. He walks up and opens the door, entering. He takes off his shoes. "Dinner will be here soon."

Chizu smiled. "Maybe after dinner we can have a little fun. If you know what I mean." She said and winked at him sweetly.

Holly pretended she didn't hear that. She was pretty hungry. She wasn't sure what kind of etiquette demons had so she just floated around the two, following them and such.

Sora blinks. "I have no idea what you mean." He looks at Holly. "We're having....pizza? Hope you don't mind."

Chizu face palmed, she'd get her point across soon enough.

Holly nodded. "Pizza sounds great~!" She floated over to Chizu and whispered to her. "Is there like a thing going on here? Obviously you want something but he doesn't seem to peachy on it. Nor does he seem to understand."

Chizu nodded her head. "There isn't anything 'right now' but ya know. He just needs a little...information." She said and smiled wide.

"What are you guys whispering about?" He closes the door. The instant that he does, there's a knock. He opens it for a few seconds, speaks in hushed tones, and comes back in with pizzas in hand.

"Hm? Oh, it's nothing~" Holly gave Chizu a sly wink and looked at the pizzas.

"Those pizzas smell great!"

Chizu nodded in agreement.

Sora places the pizza down on the table. "Then eat some."

Holly took a slice and took a bite out of it. "Oh... My... Gosh..." She really loved eating human food, it was so tasty!

Chizu took a slice and began eating it with a fork and knife, cutting off little pieces and putting them in her mouth.

Sora watches Chizu's strange way of eating for a while before standing. "Enjoy it." He slides the door open an walks out, closing the door behind him. He walks out of the house. "They should be busy for a while. What do you think Ryuu?" His left arm pulses. He agrees.

Time skip~
the day before the tournament begins-
Chance was sitting in the edge of his apartments balcony, staring at the town him. then he leaned forwards, clsoing his eyes as he fell, his wings unfurling in the drag. at the last moment he flexed the speed shifting from down to up, as he spiraled above the city, before leling out, he sighed, feeling the rush of adreneline hit him,
"better then a cup of coffee some days"
he began a slow arc, deciding to leave his prescence open today as he drifted. the early morning sun warming his face.

A few hours later, Sora enters his house, dirty and exhausted.

Holly had left the house a little earlier, giving Chizu some advice on how she thought she should woo Sora. She was hovering an inch off the ground, since no one was around, she let her wings show. She had bought a breakfast sandwich from some little shop and was exploring this small little town. It was weird that no one was out in this area.

Chance soared nearby holly, his black wings casting a shadow. the magical aure thehe sensed was weirdly holy. but he wasn't getting close. fighting people sucked. his shadow passed right over her though, As he focused on the cafe he was headed too. A place called nephiliums coffeee. he helped run it.

Holly looked up as the shadow passed over her. She watched him fly off.

"What the heck? Who is that? Another competitor? Hmm... I should probably investigate." She quit hovering and started jogging after the mystery flyer.

Sora grabs his katana and leaves the house again. "Sorry Chizu." He runs out, feeling Holly's presence and a new dark presence. He scowls. In two hours it would be midnight, meaning the tourney would officially start.
